All Sky Camera (build)

Since the weather has been pretty poor, I decided to build an All Sky Camera for home…

How has this gone ? In some cases better than expected in others not great !! Below is my build and ill put a list of items i bought and printed for this build. I decided to power mine with PPoE, the Pi-5 of course is NOT PPoE, so you can either buy the PPoE hat, or get the PPoE splitter (Thanks Mike for pointing this out) You will get the best of both worlds, Ethernet to the device and Power via USB c all on one cable !!

The Acrylic dome i bought though AliExpress, and the PVC from bunnings, a few 3D printed parts.

So, i assembled this all, and started tested and came to the realisation that the original lens i purchased was not wide enough field. I have since purchased the PlayerOne kit which is linked to above.
