So after many clear nights with the SCT 9.25″ EHD, and me not getting the guiding working with the OAG, I’ve come to the conclusion that the PlayerOne Ceres-M has a CCD which is too small for the the SCT ! even with the 0.7x reducer ! .

One of the issue i have found, is the StellarMates inbuilt guider uses multiple stars, and to be fair, when you are using a big slow scope like the f/10 sometimes there just inst enough stars for the exposure time (~0.5 – 1.5s) to lock onto.
So lets see if bigger is better !! 🙂
