So after many clear nights with the SCT 9.25″ EHD, and me not getting the guiding working with the OAG, I’ve come to the conclusion that the PlayerOne Ceres-M has a CCD which is too small for the the SCT ! even with the 0.7x reducer ! .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring on the bigger is better moto… Xena-M, here are a some photos of the CCD’s side by side <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the issue i have found, is the StellarMates inbuilt guider uses multiple stars, and to be fair, when you are using a big slow scope like the f\/10 sometimes there just inst enough stars for the exposure time (~0.5 – 1.5s) to lock onto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
